Willowerwork
Willow weaving is a traditional Chinese folk handicraft made by hand from willow or rattan as raw materials. Its origin can be traced back to the early Paleolithic era, and it is one of the indispensable living utensils in people's daily lives.

Face flowers are more exaggerated in their design, exquisitely decorated, brightly colored, and contain rich spiritual connotations, with unique aesthetic value, expressing the people's wishes for a better life and their admiration for life。

Storytelling


The traditional performance form of Shaanbei storytelling is that artists use Shaanbei dialect, hold three strings, play and sing on their own, and narrate stories with alternating rap. The melody of Shaanbei storytelling is vigorous, rough, beautiful, and varied, known as the "Nine Tunes and Eighteen Tunes".

Visit the Folk Customs Museum


The Shaanbei Folk Culture Exhibition Hall is known as the "Shenmu County Intangible Cultural Protection Center" and the "Folk Culture Communication Base". We use a combination of visual display and physical arrangement, character creation and scene simulation, and a combination of in museum arrangement and outdoor scenery to showcase representative folk customs of northern Shaanxi.
